Hope you guys like this one! :) It was definitely the toughest update so far. A* was easy, until I had to refactor all the Character movement code. At that point I ended up throwing my keyboard and kicking the wall a few times. :)

Please, if you have any level updates, get them in soon! We’re about ready to be beta by early next week and releasing the game possibly by next friday! I like everybody’s levels, but I think the game can play a little smoother. Check your levels and play test.

Also, if anyone wants to help me out by making the Mummy Boss or Dragon Boss cooler, please email me that you are going to and then do so!!

And Mountains10 is up for grabs!

Just re-packaged the 3.3.18 release. It now includes these fixes too:

. [NEW] Tapping the screen on an enemy is much easier thanks to fuzziness
. [FIX] Fixed credits screen on iPhone
. [NEW] Chests now randomly emit a jackpot of bones!
. [UPDATE] Enemies wake up a little nearer now
. [UPDATE] Mummyboss mostly finished; he shoots spikes, has sound effects, and toggles Spiketrap objects (see lof-example2.tmx)

The deer can’t be hunted with the axe, only sword. Touching the deer throws the axe, but it’s not harmed. I think it should be, otherwise hunting is too difficult.

The pathfinding is excellent. A very nice subtly that makes the game much more professional. It makes levels like forest07 so much better. I’m really impressed.

In forest07, the troll boss is hard to hit. You can be standing right behind him and he isn’t hit when you swing at him. If this is on purpose it’s OK, but if not, his hit area might need to be adjusted.

Also, the boss.caf ambience sound often cuts off. Maybe this is part of preventing crashes. At least it is not crashing.

Awesome work Nat!

When I get some time I will do some memory profiling comparing the IGK V1 and our latest build. While memory warnings are now common with iOS4.x I think it will help if we can get some real numbers, instead of my gut :-)

@stahlman: Good points. Got em noted. BTW, the boss ambience is now permanently attached to bosses.

@greg: That would be cool! I would wait until we do an official beta release.

@udca: It’s the 3rd link, the development release. It gets updated every time I post a new version here in the forums.

I downloaded the last release, and I did’t find the pathfinder class in your code?
Is in module AI, but where is this module ?

I made a PathFinder class, but too slow to help the enemies to find the player, I would like to show your version.

my iphone 4g firmware version 4.3.5 dead during jailbreak i try to restore but show error 3194
i use tiny umberaila this error clear but show another error 1600 ….
i try many procedure to clear the error but problem not solved any sugession ???
