Quexlor: Lands of Fate

Quexlor: Lands of Fate is a retro action RPG that plays like Zelda^® and Diablo^®. It was built by a community of developers using the iPhone Game Kit.

Play as Quexlor, the barbarian king, or Quinna, his barbarian girlfiend! Journey back to an age without rules, where might was right and magic skeletons walked the earth. Destroy the gigantic dragon lord Nain!

Wield the broadsword to take down your enemies. Find magical throwing axes, a power bracer to demolish rocks, and a ring that gives you superhuman stomping powers. Eat hunks of meat to increase your overall life force.

Explore four major areas, including the forest, marshlands, caverns, and mountains!

Created using the iPhone Game Kit. You can download the source code to Quexlor Lite and use it as a skeleton, template, and tutorial to making your own game.

Monster Checkers

Play checkers like you never have before… with live monsters! Choose to be the blue monsters or black death. Share your phone with a friend to play.

Each monster has a unique name and remembers how many pieces it has jumped. When you pick up a monster, you’ll know exactly what kind of mood it is in. Get ready to laugh!

Realtime scoring keeps you informed about how well you are beating your friend. Watch out for that double jump! Ohhh! Sorry. Now you’re behind.

What’s new in version 1.5 of Monster Checkers?

• Now includes music by Marco Neumann
• Each monster has a unique name and number of kills
• When a player moves it shows the score of each player, making the game a lot more competitive
• Monsters now have funny victory noises and noises when they become giant
• Monsters now make a special noise when they double jump
• Monsters now jump up and down when they attack
• If you don’t move for awhile, a monster will sometimes turn around and fart
• Shaking the phone will cause the monsters to panic
• Touch controls are more flexible
• A game can now be won if there are no more possible moves
• Minimum iOS version lowered to 3.1.x so it works on old iPod touches
• Built with Cocos2D 1.0.0
